Attributes: The Heavy Duty Retainer is a two-coil retainer which grips the pin much tighter than the standard pin and retainer. Coil spring retainer absorbs side loads and eliminates retainer spread. The retainer can not rotate when positioned properly reducing wear from abrasives between the pin and retainer. System design has reduced pin walking in applications where tip life is very long, pin and retainer wear has occurred, or tip side loading has caused retainer spreading. Heavy Duty Retainer holder is ivory colored to distinguish it from the standard retainer assembly with a black retainer holder.
